I thought it might be that. I can't find globes and after my experience with the hydro shop in CT, I am left in the dwang a bit. I was hoping to have scrapped together some cash for a cool tube and a couple of other things, but I just couldn't. Things have got so expensive so fast I just can't keep up.

Know any places that sell cfl's in that spectrum, 85w or so?

Your best bet is looking on the eurolux website for cfls. Maybe you can just swap the smaller bulbs.

The globes are easy, with cfls u get to light spectrums... Cool white(blue) and warm daylight(red)... So obviously we wanna have more blue when begging amd more red when flowering

I've grown with CFLs by using 4 reflective Eurolux housings from Builder's Warehouse and two 20-30w CFLs in each. It works, yet yields are another issue altogether. These housings, to be specific: http://www.eurolux.co.za/fittingsproductdetail.php?fit_id=442&opt_id=785#.V_uZDOh96M8

Cfls work, have no doubt,but I are correct with yields, they tend to be poor, I prefer to grow outdoors in a greenhouse, built 1 for about r1000, basic, but works very well... Veg all the plants indoors and flower outdoors... I get 2-3kg per plant using this technique, and I mean dry bud...
