No, but it could be within a year. So far the support #'s are better than they were in Cali. I'm not sure what the hell the Feds are gonna do about it though.
there's the rub, the federal threat
but i was looking at another post on another site, and did the comparison of the numbers of DEA 'men' and local/state leo
it's puny, the number of local/state leo dwarfs what DEA has
so DEA is going to come in and take over in Washington?
it's threat, it's bluster, they rely on fear, a fear threat that is slowly breaking down

Well, Arizona's Governor has already sent a big fuck you to DC, maybe Washington is gonna do the same. Obama's rating is so slow states can pretty much do whatever they want and if the feds come in and fuck it up, Obama's rating goes down even farther.

a little more patience i think, and we will have some much better MJ arrangements
won't come easy, but the glacier is flowing, and it can't be stopped
NJ has gone MMJ, not the best, but moving things forward
NY has some back door deal going on, that is happening slow, but something will probably happen in a year or so
half the damn country will be MMJ before too long, DEA will probably be ready to cut some kind of deal, anything to hang on to their worthless jobs

Once one state legalizes (as opposed to decriminalizes) MJ, THEN we'll see what the Feds can and cannot do. The State vs Fed lawsuits will be flying!!

I would have bet that Cali would be the first, but HEY!! Go Washington!! That would be so ironic anyway!! Imagine the headlines: "Washington legalizes Pot!!"

What else does this have to go through before it passes?

Edit: Found the answer to my question. This will go to the legislature in 2012, if it passes it will be law. If it fails, it will go to the ballot.

Wow this is amazing, as long as the majority of people speak up I don't understand what feds can do
WA has the 10th amendment behind it, don't we? :)

First off, there hasn't been an arrest for pot possession in Seattle within the past year.

Second, there are a couple of issues with I-502. It doesn't allow people to grow their own, and it set a limit on how much you have in your system to 5 ng/mL, which IMO is total BS. I don't know about you guys but when I drive high/stoned, I drive slower and I pay more attention to what is going on around me. I almost feel like smoking makes me a better driver.
