Confused on lighting

Okay just now I just read someone posts saying veg time should be 18/6, what is 18/6? And Flowing 12/12 thats 24 hours, but what is 18/6 I thought vegativie was sopose to be 24 hours.

the first number is are the hours with light the second is the hours without light

i suggest you hit the newbie stickies and do some more learning before gettin started won't harm

Hi,

18/6 or 12/12 is the hours of light/dark so for vegging it is saying 18 hours light and 6 hours dark and for flowering 12 hours light and 12 hours dark

You should veg at 18 to 24 hours light a day and flower at 12 hours light a day.

Ohhh ic, yeah im looking through the growfaq thought i'd check thre couldnt find it. but thank you guys im looking more around the forum its great help.
