Confidential Cheese info needed

So I just popped and nicely sprouted a bean that will grow in a 3 gallon pot in soil. I'm not really into indica dominant strains but my buddies begged me to grow it so here I am. I guess I wanted to know how many phenos are there of this plant and how tall does it get? The breeder calls for pinching instead of topping, which I've never done, how do I do that properly? What happens if I top it instead? Also, I'd like to know how well does it do with the nutes? I'll be using FF trio.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

pinching is topping m8
that strain has skunk1 (cheese) in it also, you may just aswell get some phenos that are a mix rather than the small indica
that la confidential is , don't expect to get something exactly like the breeders description, they seldom are exact, just hope to get something you enjoy

peace

Pinching can't be topping, here's the description from DNA Genetics' website:

LA Confidential x Cheese
We took our triple crown winner, LA Confidential, and crossed her into the Exodus Cheese (Skunk #1) cut. This strain is light green and stinky with a sweet taste and a very medicinal high. Some phenos will be short like the LA and some will be taller like the Exodus. The stinky Cheese and the exotic taste of LA Confidential makes for a perfect blend. She will finish in 8-9 weeks. If you want improved yields veg her 2-3 weeks from clone. It is recommended to pinch (not top) the plants to help with side branching to get the bushy affect. This strain is good for patients that have pain, sleepless nights, and eating disorders.

Pinching isn't the same as topping. Topping completely severs the main growth shoot of the plant. Pinching as the name implies does not. Confidential cheese is amazing by the way but it has been a shorter, lower yielding indica dominant pheno every time I've grown it. Good luck with yours.

a buddy of mine is growing it at the moment, 5 weeks into flower, seems to be a decent yielder, very pungent about 3 1/2 foot with five weeks veg. it was tied over at week 3, looks like it enjoyed it.. i would reccomend

The pheno I had was a beast of a plant, I mean stems (you can call them branches really) were large grew around 6-7ft and had vigorous growth. one of those strains that will not topple bring the saw to cut it down. Has tight bud structure looked like it would be a huge yielder but was more of a mid yielder. tight tight nugs, easy to trim, very good smoke. Your basic solid very indica plant. I'd probably run it again when I get space. Patients looking for solid indica plant liked it. Probably could have supercropped it more, I would say get on it early with a good amount of training then let it go.

Thanks for the replies guys, I really appreciate it. I might opt out for topping as she'll be growing along Jack Herer, don't really need it to get bushy.

Make sure you have a good system for processing the smell out of your room. This strain doesn't disappoint in its stinkiness.
It crops out well, tight thick nugs with big top colas. The LST method will maximize yield.
Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
A 3 gallon should give you a little tree! I can't stress the importance of soil quality for this strain because the LA Confidential heritage makes it picky. Something organic like Foxfarm.

This thing is growing really tall to my surprise, it's in a week three of flowering and is at about 3ft. It's really weird as it grows tall, yet the leafs are large, some of them are huge actually, I also did not see the flowers until late 2nd week, grows like some kind of a haze. Really dark green leafs comparing to light green Jack Herer that she's growing along side.
