Condensation leaking through ducting

Okay, I am running 8 1000w hoods, run off of two 8" fans. 1 fan runs 4 hoods. I was sucking air from outside but I had condensation everywhere, now im drawing air through the filter, through the lights and out, but the hoods are hotter than I want. What can I do to help with condensation?? I would prefer to run air from outside. Also, is it okay to run reallly cold air through hoods? I live in Michigan and its 20 deg out now, but will get colder. Thanks for any input.

if you use insulated ducting i think this will help with regards to condensation dripping from the ducting.

In the winter I use the heat from my 1000/w to heat my mother room, etc., which works out nicely. I vent cold air in from outside which is channeled into the top of my budding room and I have several small fans and some ductwork to keep the budding room air the same temp throughout the room. I open my bonnet up in winter months as we get 40 and 50 below zero here in the rockies. I have had as many as 6, 1000/w/hps's going with this same system. My exhaust blowers never put out as much air as my intake blowers take in so this keeps the air in the op denser than the air outside so it can absorb the excess air moisture as the dense colder air comes inside the op.

So, can the freezing cold air going through my hoods hurt them? will they function OK?
If your hoods have borosilicate glass they can handle a lot of punishment. Don't run the lights for like six hours no ventilation until they're 500°C and then blast them with -50°C air or whatever, but in normal usage I'd be surprised if they'd break from thermal shock.
