COMPLEX ventalation problem! PLEASE HELP!!

Ok... So im designing a new room and im trying to vent the room out a window that does not open. The window is halfway underground. I will be using 2 1000w HPS (sealed) with flex running to the window area. The idea is to bust out the glass and design a black sealed box in the window to replace it with holes for the flex tubing.

My issue is what will happen when it rains and what can i do to prevent water leaking in?

Does my ventilation NEED to be ran outside, or just in an adjacent room?

bump....MUST do this today... came up with another idea but need more.

I don't know if this would be possible but wouldn't some kind of hat on the outside of the window help with the rain ? That's how chimneys work don't they ?

do just what you said the first time...but on the outside of the window where the 2 vents are...get a couple of vent covers like you see for exhausts for dryer vents...that will keep the rain out...and any critters that might try to come in throuugh the vents.heard years ago about a guy that vented his shit almost the same way...had a mouse that got sucked into his intake fan....plants covered in rodent blood=not good

Ok what i did for any interested....

Designed a box to fit into window which overhangs inside the room. Sits flush to the window. Drilled holes for intake and exhaust on underside of the box. The box features a board in the middle which separate the two ventilation holes and also a splash guard, made of wood, installed at the front of the window which goes halfway up. Everything was painted black and caulked for leakage. Probably will weatherproof wood on the outside. Window is completely gone.
