i use 250ppm well water. with nutes i get it up to about 800 max ( can still burn some strains ) and then i just top off until i notice any hint of a nute deficiency. Then i'll refill and renute ( unless its close to harvest then ill just let it ride out, maybe add a little bit more nutes )

Sence nuts are added and amounts change weekly I change and clean weekly. If you use the same ppm for more then a week you can get away with 2 weeks but IMO I wouldn't go longer then that.
