Yeah, at least to some extent in my experience. Seems to vary how much. My last harvest got much darker while curing. Also the buds tighten up over time.

2nd Grow and completely different start. Same seeds, different compost - my own mix of John Innes 1 and 2.
1. Sprouted seeds in cups
2. Planted into large fabric pots - 1 week
3. Had to go away for 2 weeks so put pots in large containers almost filled with water
4. Left only LED light on 18/6
5. Came back after 2 weeks - plants had grown large in width with many roots through pots
6. Clearly overwatered but alive - drained pots and returned to "normal" method
7. Will need to be left for few days now with no water
8. Pic is at 3 weeks 3 days
