haze skunk x jack's cleaner 2 is going to rock when the genius is in with the attitude hopefully in a couple months or less.
malawi gold x JC2 should be even better
sweet haze x C99xA11 is at least the start of something nice & fruity & possibly even trippy

super cali haze x C99 might not be as awesome as sweet haze, but it ain't shabby and i think it's kinda sexy. it was as fruity and sticky as the rest of the jacks and hazes i had the sheer pleasure of testing this spring.

x C99 x A11 = my personal C99 line for next time, but sativa trans-love looks to be the big improvement over this sketch on the quick haze front as it went into flowering faster and fatter than this on it's own with nice fruitiness too.

i'm liking lemon phenos a lot at the moment, but TGA's agent orange sounds like what i was hoping for out of cali-o a few years back. lemon malawi x agent orange with some BXing for orange & trippy would be a really fun project. orange is probably my favorite fruit flavor.

orange-a-tang is a cool snap on grape ape though, and besides the pun, describes the oranges & lemons flavor mix. making it happen is another issue. you tried that orange a tang yet? it has a nice rhythm to it. i wanna buy ape fruit dot com now too! i don't know about orange hairs, but lemon skunk has a nice kind of golden glow at least that would be nice to work into an orange strain maybe starting with malawi x lemon skunk & selecting for citrus, THC quality, color & speed of flowering while maybe doing the same for orange with krush & cleaner. then again, hit all three with tested orange crush pollen and see what happens.

i like JC2 as is. as far as middy highs go, it's every bit as good as columbian gold to me. that touchy feely part of it's buzz is as magical as columbian's heavenly float. it's all love and smiles. it does visuals too. i'll likely keep some BX of that around as/is depending on what other strains my travels reveal. CH9's stonier, but still functional jack buzz is interesting enough to re-visit for it's compact stature and i'm wondering if jack 33 turns out to be as euphoric as it's description. it's jack sibling is euphoric enough though.
i don't know that i'll ever get around to testing JC2 x cindy apollo, but i expect something crazy nice out of JC2 x malawi and pretty much anything else i breed it with.
i'm happy enough with my current favorites. i won't sweat the haters.

no. i was in a rush as i started in february and was having neighbor nose up the butt issues.
i never finished building my SCROG screens or air scrubber either. the point is moot anyways. i had to cut EVERYTHING down a couple days after all of my plants got these hot spot burns the night i forgot to turn my fan on. everywhere i live, i get neighbors that ought to be bludgeoned for some peace and quiet. where i am now i have window sniffers straight out of 3's company. furley spawn.
i'm likely to get a wide spectrum halide and use the sodium as a spare for full terpene expression. just as i thought when i sampled the SCH x C99 cross that should have been more grape tasting than generic fruity under the sodium. that's why dr atomic has metal haze and DJ shorts recommends halides. i never trusted those orange bastid lights. LOL who cares about yield? quality is all that matters. i don't like working under orange either.
this is what 400w sodium with a speckled aluminum reflector hot spot burning looks like.

Well, I have to give you massive credit for posting that picture.
Most growers with a sense of shame would not have done that.
In any case, might I humbly suggest two things to you?
a. The fundamental problem there is NOT just "hot spot burning", and
b. After this performance, you might reconsider how appropriate it is for you to offer grow advice to others.
