Bagseed Day 3
Sadly its becoming to stretched out. Very weak steam and the seedling hangs to the side. It actually fell down and i re-dug a hole and placed the seedling deeper in the soil. I hope it pulls thru, I will try to get a light closer. Heres a pic.
Chronic
The chronic seems to have a very healthy strong stem probably because Ive dropped the damn thing so many times before. The spot where i topped it has grown two shoots, you guys think i will get two colas?

Today i decided i would remove the lower Buds growing on my plant. They were going nowhere fast they've looked the same for a while now. Here she is

that baby is really reaching for that light huh? LoL. most i have topped, ive gotten 4 to 6 main colas. the grapefruit just looks great, nice job man.

It has been a while since ive updated but here it is.

Almost a month old this seed has proven to be useless. I will however keep it, i c no reason in getting rid of it just yet.
CHRONIC
Remember when i said i topped it? Well sure enough it grew two main colas. It has shown its sex! Female. tiny little white pistils surround the tops. This plant has so much potential but i might sell it, not sure yet.
GRAPEFRUIT
Almost ready for harvest, Id say at least 40 percent brown hairs. Plant looks ugly, skinny little stem, deformed leaves at the top, but it has extremely sticky buds nd the smell is like a strawberry feild worker's clothes without touching it, but when you touch it it smells so freakin good so much like grapefruit or fruit loops. Its covered in thc. I recently took a lower branch from my plant hung it for 2 days and dried it slowly in a microwave at low power. When i smoked the little sample i was surprised that it already had a good taste to it and it was so smooth! Killed it in two hits and i am proud to report it did get me high. I am anxious to try the buds fully cured and dried and grown. Maybe its smoothness and taste came from not using nutrients? Here she is, also another branch i took today i wont be taking anymore.
HELP PLEASE
I am not sure when exactly to harvest, how many more days by the looks of it?
How much dry time for a harvest this size?
How much cure time for a harvest this size?
Ive heard about trimming your fan leaves a few days before harvest, is this the time for that?
Lastly, how many grams you guys think grapefruit will yield?

i dont think the smootheness is related to lack of nutes at all...
i suggest u get urself a 20-30x magnifying glass and check ur trichs if they are cloudy the plant is ready but some prefer to let it go longer to get more amber trichs resulting in more of a body high/stone
for drying i will aim to dry for about 4-12 days...the longer the better!
for curing at least a week or two! the longer the better!...theres nothing like smokin bud thats had like a month or more cure!
personally i dont trim untill everything is dry and if u are gonna trim be4 drying i would wait to trim till after it has been picked..
and for a dry weight guess...there sno well to tell...wen u weigh it wet i can give u a pretty close estimate though...

Thanks some real good info there. I guess i wont be trimming just yet. When you cure the buds does it have to be in jars or can i use ziploc?

its theglass that works great! i find that plastic is penetrable after a certain ammount of time..glass will alwayus b better

Heres the top nug of my plant. when i first weighd it after harvest it weighed 12 grams now it wieghs 9.7. the harvest was hung for two days and is currently in a jar. is there anything i should know about curing? because all i know is its suppose to be in there for 2 weeks. also i noticed its nice smell is no longer there, why?
Overall weight 17 grams, there was more but i was being a fiend and quick dried a couple nugs lol. the nugs still feel a bit moist , whats a good sign when my nugs are dry?
Heres my chronic plant as of today. it looks promising. The two colas are coming along great. Unlike my other plant, my chronic plant is not producing any deformed leaves and its stems look nice and sturdy i have a feeling the seed was a top notch seed from a seedbank but im not sure so ima call my harvest of this plant Power Chronic.
the bagseed is still as useles as ever but im keepin it.

Dried and cured nugs usually weigh about 80% less than their fresh cut

hvent heared 80% be4 sounds like if u gettin round 80 less ur ppickin too early! i get 60% at the most...
u should aim to dry alot longer than 2 days! thats too soona and could b the reason for the smell leaving completely but they smell hay like wen done and wen u cure long enough the smell and taste comes

someone please help! in my jar i found a dead fly and white mold on sum buds but only barely what should i do!?
