Couldn't find the Schuette Recall Petition but I signed the Snyder petition and brought some home to get signatures from those that couldn't make it. If anyone gets their hands on the Schuette Recall Petition, hit me up....got people itching to sign!

I also have about 55 more pics, many of which are 3 different shots of the various speakers but I'll post them if you want.

From what I understood by the announcement the Recall Schuette petition was accepted this time and we get a chance to vote for a recall.

Looks like you had a real Algonquin round table there.. nice. I especially enjoyed the pic where they spelled "we're" wrong and put a paper over the misspelling with the correct one, lol classic.

They had speakers from all of the organizations though. I'm surprised they all didn't have banners up too though. Yeah, it was fun. Here's where I was. That's just a small part of the crowd, you won't see this on the news, just the pictures of a small crowd before it was hardly started.

All those people showed up and the House never even met regarding MMJ. Here's a statement from my Reps office. . .

The legislation regarding changes to Michigan's Medical Marihuana Act (MMMA) has been referred to the Judiciary Committee. They are scheduled to meet today (no committees met yesterday because session was scheduled to go longer than usual). However, the MMMA bills are not on today's agenda. Weekly committee schedules don't post until usually Friday, and sometimes as late as Monday. So, I don't know if they will be taking them up next week. Once they do decide to take them up for consideration, the norm is to have at least two committee hearings before taking a vote. Without knowing for sure what their committee schedule looks like, I expect a vote to take place probably by the end of the month. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best Regards,

Kristen

Still waiting on a response from my Senator - Hopefully they at least met yesterday for the vote.

I think that's good. It's better they got to hear us BEFORE the vote. Give them a little more to think about before hastily making a decision.

That's true. Good point.

It just sucks that we need to wait another three weeks to know how most of this is going to pan out.
