I've been into numerous Colorado medical dispensaries over the years and a few of them accept credit cards. I'm not sure who is doing their card processing, but I know for a fact that some accept plastic. Most can't even get a bank account, so I'm not sure how they're getting a merchant account for cc processing? The couple I can think of at the moment that had cc machines were Mile High Green Cross and The Clinic on Wadsworth. There was a shop called Highland Health that was closed for being too close to a school. I witnessed a customer paying with a credit card there several years back. I'm not trying to argue with anyone or start drama, just sharing my personal experiences from visiting CO dispensaries.

As crazy as it might sound I believe anonymous sources on the internet more than I do the news <-- that's the truth, not sarcasm. Too often I see them lying, making stuff up, or just doing a half ass job of finding out what is going on.

Yeah man some of the shit they spew out is comical, especially about MMJ. Im sure they asked wells fargo and BOA and they were like nope sorry...

THIS JUST IN, ALL BANKS REFUSING TO DO BUSINESS WITH DISPENSARIES!!!

^and that is how the news is created ladies and gents

But yeah Ive personally charged several purchases from a disp and they were all flower/wax. Clearly they figured it out somehow. For the most part though, cash only with an ATM on site

Just guessing here, but I imagine that finding a bank and processor of CCs is a major ongoing challenge for a dispensary. This stems from federal pressure rather than a grudge against MJ. Whether that pressure will continue seems unclear.

For the most part, they are just ignorant. I love when they talk about crap that don't know about, like guns. Only we can do that shit - we're not on tv!
