how does the state deal with paraphernalia if you are pulled over and happen to have your medicine and your smoking tool of choice in the back of the car?

i remember when i was younger if you were caught with a drug and the paraphernalia they could charge you for both.

Now i know things have changed and MMJ for medicinal use is decriminalized, but what about pipes, bongs, vaporizers, and the sort, are they still a crime to possess?

thanks for any input

if you have your card you are allowed the "medical use" of marijuana... that means "the acqusition, possession, production, use, or transportation of marijuana or paraphernalia related to the administration of such marijuana"

Straight from the colorado constitution...

so you are allowed anything you need to deliver the medicine to your system... the only thing you can't do is medicate and drive so like angelsbandit said, keep it out of your reach while driving and you will be fine...

First off...nobody should even give the LEO's any visual clues. If you are traveling with your medicine/and vape/pipe, whatever- it should in a sealed container in the TRUNK. They have to ask for permission to open a locked glovebox or trunk last time I knew anyways.

If you have a pipe, bong or even a Vape in plain sight in your car you are asking for trouble....and you will find it. :-(

With a card you will be fine. Even if you don't have a card, what is the fine for possession these days? Didn't they lower it to a $1 fine? Just keep some one dollar bills on you in case you get in trouble. They come in handy at the strip clubs too.
