Colorado legal grow room

Hi all,
I live in colorado where it is now legal to grow up to six plants per person (only 3 flowering at any one time). I will be constructing a low profile grow setup in my house. Now even tho its legal to grow I am a married father of 3 and don't exactly want to expose my children to my activity as they are still young 10 yrs and below. I have been looking at many posts on grow boxes and stealth grows. I like the idea of having a small/hidden setup. Here is my main question. I want to have around 4 plants total 2 veg and 2 flower. I'm willing to go 3 veg and 1 flower if i must. Would it be better to try and make something along the lines of (grow box 1 pic) or just buying something like (grow tent 1). FYI I know i cant veg and flower in the same unit so i would be making or buying 2x whatever setup would work best. Thank you guys in advance for your help!!!!

my exp with stealth grows like that one:

i was only able to grow 2 small size plants. i had to use cfl blubs ( lumas do not stack) buds came out fluffy.

my exp with tents

i was able to move up to a 400watt hps blub ( 50,000 lumas i think ) i was able to grow my legal limit in "California" 12plants medical with np.

there are more in detail but i don't really want to type out all of it.
what i would do is look more into what you want to do. more bud or less bud. cfl vs hps read about how lighting works lumas ect also ventilation.

Grow tenti sthe way to go. I keep a 3x3x6.5 in my furnace room and pull near a pound from it.

I showed my 5 and 3 year old my grow tent.
Daddy's plants are boring.

be sure to get tents big enough to fit the space you have available. it's better to have too much tent space than not enough. many of us start at a certain size tent, then a couple grows later, we're annoyed that we didn't get a bigger tent.
