color changes

ok, so this is my very first grow. im using a soil less medium, and just started nutrients on my month old plants (money problems are making this a slow start up process). i checked on my biggest plant today, and it looks to me like the veins and the leaves are starting to turn a slight blueish purple. any idea if this is a nutrient problem since they were just added or is more then likely just a color change. thank you in advance for any help you all might provide

Post pics. It's the only way to get a decent enough understanding. Up close and full plant.

Also, welcome to RIU!

I get purple leaf stems all the time and it doesn't seem to be a problem. On line research is ambiguous on it. But I have gone through fine harvest without a prob with it.

IMO- It look like you have the start of a magnesium deficiency going on.
Pic of Severe Magnesium Deficiency. Keep an eye on your leaves like you been doing. If the problem gets worse take some action.

The green stuff is algae. Get rid of it. Break up the top layer of your soil and wait for it to dry more between waterings.

They look good to me and as Ive said before to someone else, If you micromanage shit as closely as I did and become a hypochondriac like I was your setup for imminent failure. I was continuously trying to fix every little thing and creating more problems along the way. Just let it be it will work itself out and if it doesn't it will let you know when the problem gets worst and then you will know what it needs. Don't forget theyre just weeds. They thrive in environments outdoors naturally that are very harsh.. They just need to adapt.
