Ok so i've read everything i could about this method of creating feminized seeds and there has been no clear information on the ppm of the mixture. Any help on that would be appreciated. Also, if i turn only one branch and self the plant is it safe to smoke the herb produced from said plant? on this one i'm looking for answers only from people who have used this method. Lemme know and thanks all.

i always thought the idea seemed kinda far fetched but i could be wrong. i'd say just do it the easy way and stress a female so it grows a dick and pollinates itself or another female. but heres what i came up with. sorry i havent done the method myself but the article below looks like its full of info.
they say at least 30 ppm http://strainguide.org/6593/colloidal-silver-generator-for-making-feminised-seeds/

all colloidal silver is, is very small amounts of silver in water. i know colloidal silver is safe to drink in very small amounts and actually has health benefits but if you do it too often you can permanently have your skin turn an ash color. High doses of colloidal silver can result in coma, pleural edema(swelling around the eyes), and hemolysis(problem with red blood cells). im sure smoking would have similar effects.

hey balzac what is this easy method that you speak of? Thanks for the insight skiweeds (+rep), but i'm really looking for someone who has actually smoked herb that was sprayed with cs or if there are any science oriented folks out there who can really give me the yes or no on whether or not i should be smoking it.

That's the Rodelization method, also called the Soma Method. I had read that not that many feminized seed producers use this method because it normally resulted in a slightly higher rate of hermis than when colloidal silver is used, which are already slightly more likely to hermi than regular beans anyway.)

Maybe what I read was wrong or more breeders have switched because I seem to read about more hermis than I used to.

Probably because, according to this forum, EVERYTHING causes hermaphroditism ;)

Yes, I made colloidal silver and sprayed it on a female branch of Purps. I sprayed it about 4-5 times over a couple of weeks and the branch formed alot of male flowers. I left it in a room with super silver haze female and fan blowing. Got a couple thousand female seeds and everyone I have planted seems to be turning out female. Great way to make female seeds. I smoked both the Purps and SSH plants. I have taken the CS orally several times and see no reason why smoking the sprayed plant could hurt. Did not turn blue or get sick lol

som eone correct me if im wrong but youve made hermies,if you self pollinated the purps you would have fems, but with the SSH they will be hermi ,and i was asking about purchased CS not homemade.

Unless the pollen was taken from a hermie (natural hermie or stress induced hermie) or the SSH was a hermie, then there is no reason to think that the seeds will produce hermies - feminised seeds of an unstable cross but not hermies.
