So I have a lady, little over a month into her thing. She's indoor soil, water every 2-4 days as needed, temps 75-80 with co2, and organic ferts(guano teas and biobizz)with mycorrhizae. I have a great soil biology, huge root system. Its hard to even get bamboo shoved in. I was watering the other day and noticed for the first time the little white specks that people say are springtails. Then a couple days later I watered again and saw 1 single gnat fly away from the soil. Today I caught a couple on tape and Ill try and get a picture posted asap.
Starting to see orange hairs here and there so its close to being done and I don't see huge numbers of gnats in the air. There are still lots of collembola in the soil, if I DE the soil they die too. There are some leaf spots but the spacing makes me believe its leaf transpiration with wind.
My question is what do?
