Orange Widow
SFV OG Kush

Green Spirit

My First breeding project
Sour Spirit - Green Spirit X Cali-O I then created a F2 of this cross with the particular pheno I liked. I then Crossed that with the Sour Diesel. Im currently growing out the offspring from the Sour Diesel.

Once I get out of the East Coast and make my way back out west the real breeding projects will start! Anyone else doing anything like this?

i've been collecting genetics for some years now, but have yet to run any breeding projects simply because of my work schedule. working anywhere from 55-65 hrs a week limits my time for my hobby. also, because of limited space and being in a non friendly state makes it even tougher. i'm currently working with 8 mothers, the strains are; ecsd (original clone), beisel (east coast cross), seedsmans skunk1, g13 labs ww, barneys farm lsd, tga jack the ripper, sensi's master kush, and paradise's nebula. i've been trying to find a worthy jtr male, but only had 1 out of 5 popped and it was scraggly. once spring rolls around i'll be putting a few of these moms outside to make room for more and then i can try some new stock. i also have seeds of federations mikado, nirvana's hollands hope, green house alaskan ice, tga jtr, g13 labs power skunk, local strain marshmellow, paradises nebula, bagseed friesland indica, and 10-12 different bag seed mexicans and jamican crosses (from my old jamican hook up). putting in an order in the next week or so to add more to list.

The cross was ok, it developed a very unique flavor and smell. Unlike any I have ever smelt before, best way for me to be able to explain the smell would be to describe it as a fruity fuely haze smell. It almost tastes exactly like it smells

It takes way long to finish, around 13 weeks for a 6 footer under a 600hps

Super heavy chunky flowers, real bad stretch problem. i do believe this is coming from the green spirit. she likes to stretch really far.

High is nice a good mix.

excellent info, thanks for spreading the knowledge, +rep
13 weeks? i've got something like that myself, a nl#5 strain that takes about that long, it's edgy cut earlier
hoping i don't see that kind of maturity requirement for a while

The waiting sucks, but it was well worth the wait. Im discontinuing the use of any green spirit.

13 weeks is a long time, but normally when you have a strain that takes that long to finish you're rewarded with some amazing smoke. the jtr i have can be pulled from 77-91 days, and i had an alaskan ice that took about 100-105 days. both are extremly soaring racey highs that are not for the beginner smoker. burnt a spliff of jtr last weekend with one of my old grow partners that doesnt really blaze anymore, and he thought their was something wrong with him. he kept asking " can you guys here my heart beating that fast?". we were like, dude, no we cant here YOUR hearth beating. relax your high! gotta love those soaring sativas

So how do you store all the seeds you guys collect so that they stay viable for long periods of time?

highly recomended for sure. lemon pledge haze / pink lemonade haze, how could you go wrong!

as for storage, i would agree with the fridge. however, i've stored them in small baggies inside of a jewel bag in my desk for years. popped a few a couple years ago from the late 90's that were stored that way. germ was a little longer then normal (4-5 days), but still got 5 outta 6.

i have about a dozen freebies from attitude - barneys, dinafem, tga, dna, mandala for the most part. i am a seed hoarder, i grow them at a much slower pace. i think that ur breeding goals are admirable, i dont have the space to do a breeding project. but good luck!
storage, u can just keep em in the baggies in a temperature controlled (READ: not hot) and also dark place.
seeds stay for a very long while.
