colder temp durring dark cycle increases trichomes???

So ive heard colder temps at night ranging from 57-65 at night will increase trichome count, does any one have an opinion on this theory?

57 sounds cold to me

it might explain why at only week 6 im already gettin antsy thinkin my plants are close to harvest, because of the rediculousness of the trichs on the buds.my nighttime temps are around 68-70.

i like to run my lights off temps in the 58 to 60 degrees

In my experience its the opposite. Warm temps at night helped me gain trichs 1 week sooner and also had plants ripening faster. No better way to find out than trying it on a plant and see the results.

yes i admit its very hard to determine if its beneficial or not... im currently in week 6 of a 10 week strain that ive harvested 6 times, started from a clone, this batch ive had my temps at 60-63 and im noticing a higher trich count... only thing im doing different is the temp..
