cold temperature

i do a cfl grow and it's becoming colder... it's an indoor grow but it in an unheated area.. it's temp is 30C now but i want to know what will the cold temps do to the plant? i'd highly doubt that the box will go under 10C but will the cold just slow growth or kill the plant all together.. the plant is just going to be a mother plant when it gets big enough but it's only a newly rooted clone in a small bucket.. i have a stove in the area.. i can have that going maybe once every week to heat the area up a bit.. but i was thinking of placing 2 -100watt incandesent bulbs in the box to make some heat.. along with the 5 23watt cfl's i have for lighting.

dont want the temps to stay between 17 - 23 because can cause fungus, anything below that DEATH!!! you want to keep it about 22 - 25 that would be the safe side. good luck and happy growing

if not you can get heat lamps for this purpose.

i have an underground cellar. it has been told to me when my grandmother lived here that a light (incandescent) was left to burn to keep temps above freezing.

i'm dealing with this same issue. i'm about 60 degrees in the grow room and its only going down.

i have also keep my lights on from 5pm to 11am to help keep the night temps up. I'm wondering what i will do when i flower and they have to go for 12 hours of darkness / no heat. when i do flower it will be from like 7pm to 7am. what to do, what to do?

I got a green house heater inside mine that averages out at 28 c, thats when its 12 hours of darkness so that i dont worry about freezing the poor thing :) i paid £15 for the heater and £4 for the timer :) so it goes on when the lights go off?
