Cold Nights

Well i started a new room in the upstairs. i always wanted to grow there but it gets really hot in the summer. Anyway I am in day 10 of flowering and I've been getting down to 58 degrees everynight in the room.


My range has been huge, 78 in day 58 at night. I'm going to hook up a space heater from here on out, but I sonder how much damage has been done, if any?

They look fine. I guess they are doing a small 12/12 stretch, but I used some bushmaster so it is hard for me to tell.

Anybody do a whole grow with night/day temps as varied as mine?



What do you guys think of 60-58 F at night?

Yep, my temps run about 75-78 lights on, and drop to close to 55 right now, lights out. You can see pics of my current plants flowering here, post #43 is the latest update:

They are doing fine, cold be damned.

very interesting. I'm doing Cali Big Bud. It's 100% Indica so maybe it likes the cold nights? I don't know but it is the Cali Big bud, not the seed factory one. (clone only) I hate to use space heaters. They just suck up so much fucking juice. Anyway we'll see what happens. Maybe I won't do the space heater?

If you're only dropping to 58, for lights out, then no - you won't need the space heaters. (Might have to reconsider though, if you choose a tropical strain).

I dont know, i dont have anything else even close to being ready right now. I just cut some clones 2 days ago, so i really, REALLY, need this batch of girls to do well. They usually do though, lol.
