Coco is NOT SOIL!

It is a hydroponic medium with very little nutritional value.

With coco you either need to use COCO SPECIFIC nutes or you MUST supply additional levels of calcium and magnesium.

I have and still do use coco.

If you use it like soil you WILL be disappointed.

Get that word out of your head!!

Replace it with MEDIUM.

When using coco there are a few simple things to remember.

1. pH 5.8 everything you feed
2. Achieve 20% runoff out the bottom of the pot everytime you feed them.
3. Feed them when the top of the coco looks dry.
4. Get yourself some quality meters for testing pH and nutrient strength.
5. Remember its more like hydro than dirt.

id keep away from miricale gro me self....coco aint to expnsive for what it is . I think you would be quite happy with it....best advice I could give u is not to stress and over do it....sit back relax and read your plants..when they want something or somthings not rite they will tell u......don't overwater them or go mad on the nutes.....lower the strength at first.....get your self some calcium and magnesium on safe side.....usually some nuts have a low amount in but always best to have some buy u....don't worry about all the fancy toppings ect ect aint rely any need for it......
