Cococolas indagro journey

Wow sorry guys, its been a while since updating this thread! These beauties are on day 29 since flip and have been on 13/11 since day 14. The flower production is a bit behind then what I'm used to at this point for this strain as I have run it a few times now. But with that said its marginal, and since using heavy 16 bud a&b with aptus (since day 17) they have been packing it on. What I will also be honest about is the resin production, and smell is more pronounced at this point than when under cmh for this strain. I have been growing a while and I want to think it has to do with the fact that there is very little heat/ and radiant heat. Induction also being a less intense light source may also contribute to the added quality.
Now I have to defend my cmh of course lol as they are prob too close to my canopy most runs with the vast intensity luxor and og hoods throw down. And that is something I will be working to correct in the future with canopy management. Not too say my quality has been poor, or that resin production is anything near bad under the 860 cmh. I am just very impressed with the indagro/pontoon and can tell that half way through this run I will most likely see the frostiest potential/quality this strain has to offer me yet. I am still a big fan of yield as everyone knows, but quality is also a virtue I'm after. And hey its day 29 these girls have plenty of time to bulk up.

looks great. Your CMH is.probably be too close. That CMH shout be good at 2 + feet away. CMH and ig both put out uva and uvb. From what I saw with the 330's. Trich and resin production should be close. With 12/12 - 13/11 - 12/12. Flowering time does take 1-2 weeks longer depending on strain.. They do develop a little slower. It is more intense than you think. I have lower buds at 3-4 feet away from the light that are pretty dense and larger than golf balls.

imo the 95 cri from ig makes quite a difference. All the.cob heads disagree by their math. They haven't ran high cri.though..

her is a pre 98 bubba about 4½ feet tall from the top of the soil.

Welcome coco to the induction world. I too got my setup from Darryl, what a great guy and awesome people friendly company. Have used my 420/pontoon setup for four grows and I love it. These ladies love that natural light output for sure. One thing I did notice though is the plants like to stretch slot compared to my vipar 600w led light. So be ready for that.

Gonna sub this threAd also. Good luck and hoping ya get that heavy harvest.

Thanks for the info hyroot, i def noticed really nice trich production under the 860cmh on lower buds vs top so I'll def be working harder on future runs keeping a nice distance.
As for the ig I had no idea the cri was 95?! That's really high which is nice. I did notice you and others had bud development all the way through on your plants. With that the case I should def be fine these critical sensi are Indica heavy and are only 30" so i didn't lollipop them much at all. What is the best flowering with the pontoon ? I figured 13/11 was a sweet spot. I'm surprised they take longer given the extended dark period due to far red.

Thanks Mr John, I'm lucky with my stretch but like I've mentioned i have some nice Indica Dom on my hands this run. If i can manage to keep them in good health all the way through I'm thinking my end result will be well worth the watts/ heat saved

Hope you don't mind budding in here, I did notice any real difference whether my ladies were on 13/11 or 12/12 tbh. I do run mine at thirteen on just because of the efficiency of the light and that the reds are supposed to start the flowering cycle started sooner when lights go out for the night.

its the reverting from 13/11 to 12/12 at the end that fucks with the plants making them take longer. They chunk up a lot at that point. Its like outdoor. Flowering times take longer outdoor than indoor. I have been seeing larger buds and larger yield with this method. I've yet to try 13/11 from start to end. I think spliff / urban farmer and chaz run straight 13/11. Spliff said the same thing. His strains were going 70-80 days when flipping back to 12/12. He said he was going to do 13/11 straight. Hr hasn't posted in the inda gro thread since.

Interesting, duly noted. I'm sure i wouldn't be alone in saying longer flower times are not ideal, especially since my veg gets so huge in the mean time. So I will keep them on 13/11 possibly a bump to 13.5 until week 7 since they are indica's.

Looking good in there. My Indagro pics made it onto skunk mags site...while my AT pics did not. The CRI will make some pretty flowers. Mine was a less than ideal run so yield was lower, so I'm excited to see how it does in a full system like yours.

I'm skeptic of anything longer than 12/12. I have never heard anyone say...wow, that is awesome. The opposite is what I actually hear unfortunately...they won't flower, they transitions slow, I only run it for a couple weeks, they won't finish....the negatives are pilling up to me. I won't even try it. But I will run less than 12/12 one day soon.

its a tough decision, because it does seem like mixed reviews on dark periods..all i know is I always did run 13/11 with my cmh and far red lumigrow bulbs. But i know the 860 cmh seems to have a lot of red in it already so maybe that has something to do with it idk for sure. Ill bump the indagro to 13.5 for a week or two to see if theres a difference. Only way to tell...

I never knew you were alway running 13/11 with the CMH's. Interesting.

Is it 13 on 11 off or the other way I always thought on then off if so going from 12\12 then to 13/11and 12/12 you should really not increase light time in the middle it is gong to mess with there cycle not like revegg but not finishing flowering either.I would say stick to one or decrese in the middle or end but don't add time while already in flower seems to trigger something in the plant.I have plants outside before do this when the neighbors porch light would come on during there cycle didn't revegg just kept flowering without finishing.

we have 730 IR leds that turn on for 5 min when the other lights turn off. Mimicking sunset. Sending the plant into its phytochrome state faster as if it were outside. With out that 730 it takes 2 hours for a plant to go into its phytochrome state. With the 730's it takes a few min. Plants require 10 hours of phytochrome state . It's like rem sleep for people. When the sun sets it puts out that same wave length. Tha'ts why outdoor plants flower at 14/10

Yessir, not every single run, but my best yields to date were under 13/11. Could be some variables in there though

Day 42 flower, since my last update they have been on 13.5/10.5 chunked up quite a bit! But it is in peak flower growth for this strain/pheno so its hard to tell if the little bit of extra "daylight" time has anything to do with it or not. Either way its certainly not hurting anything, as aroma and trich production is the best yet. It has a much more pronounced fruity smell this run, as previous runs had a more skunky earthy aroma with slight fruity undertones. I will however be changing back to 13/11 for the remainder of this run for the final swelling/maturing phase.
Normally under cmh this strain would finish with mostly cloudy some amber trichs (how i prefer) in 53 days give or take a day. I'm def going to let it go longer under the indagro/pontoon as there are plenty of nice white hairs and new flower growth, so even if it is a week or longer the yield might surprise me, in a good way.

Here is a pic just before lights on (just better contrast of leaf to flower ratio)

Great job man looks great I am at day 47 flower with my inda grow and I am impressed ,I to noticed increased fragrance and great trich production I just sampled some two week early kosher kush and it turned out great.I have the pontoon but only went the usual 12/12 and things are about a week ahead going to take everything next weekend we shall see on the weight but everything else looks great.Nice work again interested to see how your yield is and how you like the final product. After seeing where they were at yesterday on my grow I went ahead and ordered two more lights plus a gavita 600 and am looking at mixing the two.
