Coco - Water Temps

Quick, noob question

Can water temps be higher for coco than dwc? I understand that in dwc, water needs to be no higher than 72 because oxygen levels will be depleted. If I can bubble the hell out of a reservoir, will the warm, oxygenated water be ok for coco? Say my water temps were 85 and well oxygenated.

Thinking of switching mediums and need insight. I cant afford to run a chiller without turning off a light. I did one coco grow before and did well for my first indoor grow

its allways best to keep some water at as close a temp as your growroom to avoid shock to the plant, even just cold water will impact the plant in some small way, but a hot grow room and verry cold water will cause shock

This is true and important to note with winter approaching. If you use tap water, it can be quite frigid in the winter, so it's always a good idea to keep a few buckets of it at room temperature, which also gives the chlorine time to flash out.

Thank you all. It will definitely save me money in the future. Lugging soil around is becoming a chore I don't want to do. Do ppl still use megacrop? Wanting to keep this as simple as possible

I know it's a bit late for a reply but I started struggling with water temps too as winter hit. The room is quite cold as I keep fresh air coming in and that's where my tank is (plants are in a tent where temperature is automatically adjusted). I just purchased an aquarium heater where I can set the desired temperature and it will keep it that way, I only switch it on an hour before feeding so I don't waste electricity for the rest of the time.
