I’m going to be mixing up some..

coco
Ewc
Perlite

Or
Coco
Organic soil
Perlite
Ewc

maybe some Malibu compost to either one of those mix or would it be fine without it

I really wanna try the first one just
The coco, ewc, perlite with the 2 tbs of dr earth mixed in & top dress every 2 weeks there after
But seems like it can use more organic matter like the Malibu compost or organic soil

what’s a good ready to use bagged coco brand?

i used plagron dried bricks and i am happy with it. didnt rinse it didnt buffer. also instead of just going with perlite i added perlite, pumice, lava stone and lava stone sand, zeolite, activated carbon and basalt sand. if you have good fresh ewc thats will be good enough but no harm in diversity when it comes to adding composts imo.

I went with some royal gold tupur
45% coco , age forest product, perlite and basalt .. I’ll just be adding EWC , bit extra perlite and the dr . Earth veg mix then water with some superthrive when transplanting from solo cups into slightly bigger pot

how much ewc should I use per gallon of soil when mixing ? Actually I think I read somewhere 10-15% ewc of the total volume of the potting mix

ewc is such gentle fertilizer that you can add as much as you want as long as you balance it with enough aeration. 15% is a good start imo.
