Coco to Soil

long story short. I started some seedling in coco and would like to change over to a soil grow for these ladies. When I up pot, can I just dig a hole and drop the seedling in (3 nodes)? Or do i have to knock off all the coco, and just transfer the roots? I am concerned that the coco will dry out too fast, as the soil takes quite a bit longer between feeds.

Don't knock off the coco. Transplant them as intact as possible.

If the plant is healthy and you know its not a finnicky strain.. . I would just wash you hands really good and break apart the roots and knock ofd whatever you can without drestroying too much of the main thick roots youll be fine .

I used a knife many times to cut big sections of roots off . youd be surprised .

Alot of the time they come back looking better. Sometimes theyll look shitty for a few days maybe a week . Just dont put them in full light right away and just plain water until they look like their growing fast again

I bury the coco transplant deeper so the top is well covered by soil then treat it like soil.

These would be well rooted before transplant :-)

Not sure why you would want to grow in soil, coco is a superior medium when done right?

Prepping this mother for outdoor flower.

4+ month old plant used as mother from 5gal coco to 20gal soil. Plan to keep it in veg for a couple weeks.....then transition to outdoor.

So far all good. Fingers crossed.
