coco peat v soil

hello fellow growers

i did my last grow using 50% soil 50% pearlite. it was an indoor grow with 400w hps. it worked out really well.

i'm about to do another grow and i must decide what to grow them in. here are my choices:

1.same as last time (50% perlite, 50% soild)
2. 4 parts topsoil, 1 part peat moss, 1 part vermiculite, 1 part perlite.
3. coco peat. (i work at a garden center and we have these big 'bricks' of compressed coco peat. you add water and it turns into a nice grow medium with no slow release or anything. though i don't really know what it is all about)

what do people reckon? any help would be greatly appreciated

:peace:

i personally think #2 is the best.
i got a 4 part soil 1 part vermic and 1 part perlite and worm castings.

talk about RAGING!!

and i tried coco core and i personally think is better for cloning only really holds water. but coco peat not to sure of.

I would go with what worked for you first time; OR you can take on an experiement and see your progress with your new soil mix' . good luck!
