COCO in DWC anyone?

i want to put together a DWC system and use coco as my grow medium, but i havnt found any good solid info or read any good, post/write up on it.

anyone have any links/info or advise for me?

It can work. "Coco" is actually a couple different types of medium. The stringy stuff and the chunky stuff work good in DWC 'cause they don't tend to fall apart easily. Traditional coco like yours won't stay in a netpot as easy unless you use some sort of a liner (and there are coco liners too). Try a cotton sheet or a nylon, and it'll work fine. Might brown your water while the roots are still growing down.

Ok so now that ive been learning how DWC works, it would be kinda point less to use coco, it reality the plant is just being held in place by what ever is used in the net pot. its being fed by the water and its nutes not the clay pebbles or coco or what ever.
right?

Great question Ive had similar questions you may also us peet pellets, or small rocks, marbles etc. I haven't started my dwc yet but when I do I plan on using coco and marbles as I can't get hydroton
