I planted in 100% canna coco, and they look like they're having issues. I'm not sure if I need to add soem perlite, to help the drainage....I thought they were overwatered, but I thougth it was hard to overwater coco. Here is a log of what happened to them, and what they look like now. Help! lol The third guy looks epsecially rough.

Growing in coco you want to water always with nutes and always water with 25%+ run off, if you wanna save nutes then I suggest to use autopots all tought you will have to flush every month or soto save nutes, is it legit to water the pots until runoff with plain water, and then add like 2L or so of water with the nutes? or should I nute the whole amount of water I add? also, I was going to water until runoff because I have read about salts building up. what do ya'all coco users think? ahould i just water 500ml to 1L, and water to runoff every couple times I water?
Are you using nutes on him??i had watered, after i let them dry out a bit, most look okay now, but I have one problem plant still that worries me. He is yellowish, all leaves are drooping and generally looks like shit. The rest look a bit better, still a tad yellow, but showing growth. this guy just gets droopier.

i really dont understand this flushing...........if you nute each time with run off you are pushing the old stuff out........there is no need to flush with plain water unless you fuck upHey bro,
I am currently growing in 75/25 coco and perlite mix and tend to water with nutes to get quite a good run off, say between 20-25%. I have found that its kind of like a mini flush, but with nutes, or thats the conversation I have in my head everytime I do it! I have not had any ill effects so it seems to work! Hope that helps a bit mate.
apparently not for some reason..........Are you using nutes on him??
I know it doesn't sound like it makes sense but it seems to work okay! My theory is that all of the old nutes just sitting about gets moved on for some new ones! So are you saying its better to not have such a big run off as 20-25%? I'm new to this scene so don't go shooting the messenger, just yet. I am only giving advice on my experience so fari really dont understand this flushing...........if you nute each time with run off you are pushing the old stuff out........there is no need to flush with plain water unless you fuck up
i guess we all have our ways and probably they all work but in the time ive used coco ive never flushed with plain water and my plants always do well, i know peeps who hardly give any run off and some who bottom feed......i reckon 20-25 is a bit over the top though just wasting nutes .............and i feed every other day when established so nothing is sitting in the pot for long like soil....or more if there is a need.........i also feed from the start .......I know it doesn't sound like it makes sense but it seems to work okay! i just germinated these guys at the beginning of the month, and I gave them some today.apparently not for some reason..........
good to hear, i know lots of peeps say no to nutes in coco from day 1 but the way i see it is compost has nutes from the start and it does the plants no harm so there really isnt any harm using nutes from germination when using coco....i just germinated these guys at the beginning of the month, and I gave them some today.
Haha no worries mate, just smoke another and it will straighten your eyes right out, no test neededsorry gaz i thought you had said you flush with plain water, must get my eyes tested........
