i screwed up enough to get here but i just switched the timer to 12/12 last night.

there's 6 plants to start:

2 Purple Urkle
2 Grape Punch
2 God's Gift

i also have 3 Odyssey cuttings vegging beside 6 OG Kush cuttings just taking root (3 days old) in another room. i'm using rapid rooters and clonex in my first propagation attempt, hopefully it works. i have a Hindu Skunk mother vegging in there in case all my OG Kush cuts fizzle out.

anyhow - the 6 in the tray are in 12L square pots of Canna coco. they have been fed Canna Coco A+B, Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, GH Florablend and AN B-52.

for flowering i will feed them Coco A+B, Cannazyme, AN Nirvana, Carboload, Big Bud and Overdrive then flush with Final Phase.

i was overwatering the piss out of them at first (i feel like an idiot for that post...) but besides some drooping here and there they've got a nice green like nothin i ever grew before.

got a few weeks before things get real interesting but i think this is gonna be good. :blsmoke:

i would be careful mixing all those flowering products, and you dont need the b-52 if you are already using rhizotonic

also marc, since you bought house and garden you need pretty clean water (0-100 ppm) if your water is higher than 100 ppm than i would suggest buying a R/O machine or you can use Canna nutes which are designed for tap water with a ppm of 200-250.
I took your advice and bought a R/O machine today and a PH/PPM tester..I also bought a pump and some stones to aeroate the 55 gal water container- another $500 bucks later, but I am hoping it will be worth it.

Well since I've got to wait to do the grow I'm truly planning for, I'm setting up a grow for a friend. To be more cost effective I've decided to do a Canna Coco grow using all the Canna products:

Canna Coco
A + B
Rhizotonic
Cannazym
PK 13 + 14
Boost

Since this will be my first grow in Coco I'm excited. Though I was trying to stay under $200, I'm topping out at $400 for everything, which isn't bad. That's lights, grow room, nutes, genetics, etc. I'm testing out a CFL grow for a friend I'm setting up for. I typically do DWC hydro setups, but wanted to go more organic. I found this thread and read the whole thing and thought what the hell. Budget was limited so I had to think creatively. So excited and so can't wait. I read something about the Canna Boost not being all that. What about other possible better alternatives? I know someone posted a link to them, but is anyone actually growing with the airpots? I'm gonna try those out too. New year new set up new medium... why not. I'm growing in a smaller space and want to maximize it and thought this was an awesome way to do it.

I am going to a cannabis outdoor farmers market up in Clear Lake this weekend to pick-up my clones..I am not sure what will be there, but any strain suggestions for indoor coco grow would be welcomed.
I tried to add my journal to my signature but doesn't seem to come up, but all my details are here--- https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/250344-first-medical-grow-2000w.html
Anything with a fair bit of Northern Lights in it is usually a good idea to start with. Also tell them what kinda high you want. Couch lock, up/cerebral, trippy, something for back pain, or for nausia....something for everyone out there.

Grow what ever you like the sound of or somthing that wets your whissle. From what ive gotten out of growing different strains out over the last couple years is they are all about the same.

Some phenos will be better then others and stronger growers of just about any strain. If your buying clones pick somthing you want because sombody is coning it the pheno should be a strong good plant so selection should be whatever you want to grow you will be most happy that way.

Just be slow on feeding and you will NEVER burn a plant or any strain.

Some sativa plants are a bitch to keep but that has more to do with enviroment then anything else because alot of people keep rooms to cold for pure sativas.

i replied to this yesterday but i don't know what happened - i can't find that post so whatever...

i don't mix them all at once - i use them according to an's 3 part flowering system.

their system is bud blood for wk1, big bud for the next few weeks and overdrive in the last few weeks. i'm just substituting nirvana for bud blood, its not the same thing but its been working fine.

i use liquid carboload at half dose throughout flowering.

i use b-52 once a week because it has tons of good shit rhizotonic doesn't. i also innoculate with piranha & tarantula and i use gh floralicious plus once a week. i go through so little of these supplements doing it this way that i have no problem spoiling my plants a bit (i've been using my 1L of b-52 for 3 months and its still over 3/4 full). also, this way i can use one supplement at a time and the plants don't have to miss out on base nutrients to make room for a buttload of supplements like some guys do it.

honestly, i can't afford a low yeild after how much i've invested to stop buying meds and then wasted to mistakes. after this run i'll start worrying more about what the plants actually need and what i can trim out. i just don't want to so much as graze corners this time around then come up short and run dry before my next harvest.

you will be fine, coco is hydro, so you can grow pretty large plants in pretty small containers....

jats is right tho,... bigger pots will usually grow bigger plants.

just had a couple questions scanned the thread for info cant find anything...

hopefully you coco experts can help..

if i mother a couple plants in a system without using coco as a medium and i take the cuttings from those plants and flower them in coco do i fully benefit from using it as a medium?

also im using the grodan croutons . i flushed the croutons (or atleast i think i did)
and the water still comes out brown after like 1 flush ... i wanna recycle my water but ppl tell me that i should just run to waste .. is there anyway around this??

veg room- drip system
flower rm- ebb and flood

yes will still benefit from the coco for sure.

some people recycle their coco nutes but it is recommended not to, but like i said some people can pull it off, but lots of people have troubles.
