I have been looking into sensi grow and sensi bloom, they seem mighty good. any thoughts on using these in coco.
I havent forgot about u, i just am really busy....

i dont know much about sensi bloom, but i would say that it is not good for coco grows because its too high in K (Final NPK: 2.9-3.05-4.4) and too low in Calcium and Magnesium... it also only contains 7 essential elements, so u would need to supplement with additional micros as well.

i'll try to get back tomorrow.....:joint:

Hey Jberry long time no talk. So I a trying to make a nute plan for next coco grow.

JB I really respect your knowledge, I am really curious to which products you would pic. I made a list of things I will be using, please feel free everyone to fill in your favorites.

Base nutes:
PK boosters:
Humates:
Silica:
Sugars:
Enzymes:
Innoculants:
It depends on if you are trying to save money or not...
I could go off for days about this topic but im going to be straight forward and just list the products Im using or have used in the past that worked well... If you have more questions, just ask...

Base nutes: Canna Coco A/B, or Cutting Edge Solutions 3 part (I recommend adding some secondary/micros/trace elements, but if you use cutting edge then you could prolly get by without)

PK boosters: Canna PK 13/14, Shooting Powder, M.O.A.B., Top Booster

Humates: 8% Pure Fulvic Acid http://chem-gro.com/cart/product_info.php?cPath=23_29&products_id=127 and TM-7 (TM-7 contains 50% Humic Acids, 10% Fulvic Acids, and 7 micro nutrients)

Silica: Dyna Gro Pro-tekt

Sugars: Humboldt Hydro Honey, Organic Raw Brown Cane Sugar, Ect. ( I hear Banana Extract is awesome stuff )

Enzymes: Trichoderma powder (Bottled Liquid Enzymes are risky and expensive.)

Innoculants: Pumkin Pro, Great White, Plant Success Granular, Azos., Fresh Compost Teas... Some other suitable Beneficial Bacterias for hydroponic use are: Rhizobium, Bacillus Subtillus, and Pseudomonas.

Micros: TM-7 with Humic and Fulvic Acids: http://bioag.com/images/TM-7_OR_CA.pdf - it turns your water black which i dont like so i will probably be looking into something else.

Root Stimulants: Kelpak (for its high Auxin/ low cytokinin ratio) For Foliage growth use the opposite (low Auxin / high Cytokinin)....
Roots Exelerator, Rhizotonic ...

Inducers: Chitosan products... I use Bloom Foliar Plant Health Regulator A/B, but there are a few different Chitosan products available. (When chitosan products are sprayed onto plants, the plants "think" they have been attacked by a fungus. The plant's cellular machinery kicks in, eliciting biochemicals to stave off infection. In the process, the plant shifts from vegetative growth to a generative habit, putting most of its energy into producing flowers and fruit!)

I also use some other products like MagiCal (cal/mag), Gravity and H&G Bud XL... Something containing L-Amino Acids may also be beneficial.

If you want to keep it cheaper then I would get the Cutting Edge 3 part formula and add some Fulvic Acids, Root Stimulators, Flower Boosters, or what ever supplements/additives you feel worthy. If you want to keep it really cheap then you could try Dyna Gro Foliage Pro with a little cal/mag.

If your willing to pay more, then you could use Canna Coco A/B as your base nutes and the H&G additives (Roots Exelerator, Bud XL, Top Booster, Shooting Powder) and that would give you good results.

This is how H&G claims their additives work:
Bud XL and all the other H&G enhancers are made up of different vitamins, hormones, sugars, fruit and vegetable enzymes.
A plants hormones tell it to send off enzymes for different nutrient uptakes within that time in its life. Bud XL is a balanced diet of those ingredients to tell the plant to send more sugars and flower building nutrients to the proper places.

When you add the Top Booster it has the balance to tell the plant its experiencing fall drought and its time to shut down outer leaves to send all sugars, vitamins, and minerals to fruit sets...

That is when you add our extra vitamins, minerals, and sugars (contained in Shooting Powder).

Yeah, I never wanted to go with B'Cuzz in the first place. Neither of my hydro shops I go to were carrying CANNA coco at the time. I went to the bigger of the two stores yesterday. Guess what they have started to stock now? ;-)

is ionic a 2 part nutrient? whats the NPK?

Copied from a their site

Ionic Grow (NPK: 5-2-6) nutrient is designed to maximise potential for vigorous vegetative growth.
Application rate: 4 teaspoons per gallon

Ionic Bloom (NPK: 4-5-8) nutrient is loaded with the crucial elements that support heavy flowering and should be used once flower buds are established.
Application rate: 4 teaspoons per gallon

Ionic Boost is a supplement designed to promote heavy flowering and should be used in conjunction with Ionic Bloom. Ionic Boost is specially formulated to deliver the key elements, Phosphorous and Potassium in a pure form that is easily accessible to the plant. Initiate feeding at the start of flower bud formation through the flowering stage.
Application rate: 3/4 teaspoon per gallon

JBerry Thank you Thank you so much. I cannot thank you enough for your info. I know you got your coco skills down.

This was very helpful I am going to make an excel sheet using your advice on the nutes. We are on the same page for the most part except you introduced a ton of more stuff to me.

The good news is that I can definitely afford shooting powder, top booster. I already have the fulvic, great white, bud-xl, roots excelurator and cal-mag.

I will have to check if cutting edge is available to me at the local shop. They don't have canna but do have H&G cocos, do you think that will do fine or should I make the extra 40 min trip to pick up some canna a and b.

Another question regarding the H&G, I notice that it doesn't get its PK boost till pretty late. I am running all 10 week strains, so that would mean I give the top shooter at week 7. Do you give any other PK boost you mentioned above in the earlier weeks of bloom or just feed the same veg nutes with bud-xl in the mix.

Thanks again for your help. You stopped my head from spinning in circles looking at different nutes over and over again.

H&G A/B works, but for some reason even their coco specific nutrients are high in K...
When growing in coco you want to try to keep the K lower than usual and the Cal & Mag higher than usual... Canna coco nutes have a good NPK ratio and Cutting Edge can be slightly tweaked to achieve a good coco NPK ratio.

I would start using the PK booster as soon as the first small buds start developing...

I am still learning new stuff all the time and will probably continue to make changes as I learn more... Honestly, I eventually plan on following Fatman's lead and mixing my own nutes... That way I can match my desired target PPM's for all the elements and additives, hormones, ect...
