Coco coir vs FFOF

I'm currently using FFOF with garden lime and mykos. Everything is going good and I have no complaints. I'm going to be switching to a sog style setup I've been thinking about going with nectar of the gods coco coir in 1 or 2 gallon smart pots. Does anyone run a similar setup or have dealt with coco and FFOF ? I've been told that with coco you start feeding right away. The NOTG coco is also 100% organic and has a ton of beneficial additives. I heard root growth in smart pots and coco is fast and effective.

With coco you feed like hydro. Start weak and work up. Use calmag as the coco likes to lock it up.
