COB vs blurple spectra

i guess the question is, is do blurples (or mono 660s) have a place as supplemental lighting?

I have an a51 sgs with r/w 155w that stands its own with an a51 xgs 3750k 190w. Some added red in the 5w panels may be helpful and I've not seen any negatives. There were very few white 3w or 5w white panels and even less if any around 3000k. The added red did seem helpful.

Got some cobs also. Whole new ballgame!
