Looking to build/buy a setup for a 32in x 32 in tent ..strictly for veg..hopefully without breaking the bank..what would you all suggest? I'm in canada so sourcing some parts is tough as far as I've read..I did look on hlg and they have a 100w 4000k quantum board and driver for around 200 dollars and says it would cover 3x3 in veg..but if there's somewhere I can source the products to do it myself I will..again any suggestions or advice is welcome thanks a bunch guys and gals8

ive just bought 10x bridgelux Eb strips and an hlg 320 driver for 140 euros on Digikey. these strips are suppose to be on par with some of the best diy led builds.

ill be using this to light the same size tent as yours.

Great sounds like you guys have had some success and the prices sound awesome ...any chance you guys could toss together a parts list I would need to get this done?

Here are the actual part numbers:
560mm (2ft) EB Gen2 3500K= BXEB-l0560z-35e2000-c-b3
280mm (1ft) EB Gen2 3500K= BXEB-l0280z-35e1000-c-b3

See the differences? length and K temp are in the part numbers.... Now if you want 3000K instead of 3500K, change the 35, to a 30.....
The 3500K 560mm, have gotten popular it seems, not many available...The 1 foot would work the same really, just need twice as many.
Plenty of 3000K and 4000K 560mm.

Use those actual part numbers, and search with Octopart search engine, this will tell you which distributors have current stock, with direct links to their catalogs.

That link to the 1 foot strip you posted above is for a Gen1 EB strip as well.

Sir420 checking in with the rest of the LED fanatics here Im also into the DiY builds & have been studying for months now to be able to say I have a little understanding of building my own light! My priority is efficiency over everything. I think the most efficient light is to get lm301b strips from DIGIKEY and I am trying to create a 5x5 space light with 8-900 ppf at top of canopy. My frame will be almost wall to wall to spread even light & my GOAL is to make this fixture reach the highest ppfd with the lowest amount of watts possible. They say use 480 watts in 4x4 but I seen a guy pull over 2lb with only 364watts! ... So with the most efficient lights on the market (lm301b) can I make that 2lb with like 330-350 watts??
