Due to personal limitations i built an outdoor shed without ac in socal last year. After three grows under 2x BD 400 and a Kind 750 led i upgraded to Timber cob led's. My grows under BD/Kind, 8 weeks veg and about the same for flower, from seed using fox farms ocean forest, produced about a pound each. A number of noob issues, but one that may be related to BD lights.

Shed inside is w 4.5' x l 11' x h 7'
intake and exhaust fans 6" 440cfm
3x 400 w vero29 3500k, Timber Grow lights
3x 3'x3' trays, fabric grow pouch at 3 gallons

I welcome comments, suggestions, questions and call me an idiot if you like, i am old with thick skin. If this thread should be moved elsewhere please let me know.

My last two grows were under Black Dog 400 phytomax x 2 plus one Kind 750. So, yes i am an idiot who was taken in by some questionable websites promoting those lights. The lights did grow flowers, some nice trichromes and aromatic terpenes, Buds were airy for some strains and tight for other, slow to mature, and i probably harvested a little early. Crockett Confidential seeds always produced nice tight nugs, but probably should have been lager.

I have many problems, but the weather inland socal is pretty warm right now, so my shed without ac is always a struggle to control. Fans are cranking all night, I have dialed back the light intensity in order to lower the heat as they veg.
Second self inflicted issue is that there are 7 different strains growing at the same time. I like variety.

To help with the second issue plants will be vegged until about 12".

Complaint about black dog lights - they did not completely power off with my analog timer. A very low intensity light emitted from led diodes all the time, unless power switch turned off. i blame this for some unexpected hermy issues. A gorilla glue had the best hidden male flowers ever. Did create a nice cross between skunk 1 and gorilla glue!

Growing from seeds collected from flowers i bought for consuming. Probably hermies as they all have been female in past. Two seeds purchased from Seedsman, one Acapulco Gold and one Lemon Sour Diesel. First two photos above are Girl Scout Cookies all 9. Next two bins have Headband, Gorilla Glue, AG, LSD, Skunk#1XGorilla Glue, and Master KushXGorilla Glue. Using up some old seeds with questionable genetics, except LSD and AG.

Water using tap, 565 ppm, 8.1 ph which i adjust down to 6.5-6.8 ph. Water sits for a day to remove chloramine.

If heat is a problem and your outside humidity is low, I'd definitely try a powerful swamp cooler.

What kind of carbon filters are they and where can I get them?

vey nice setup, clean and simple, good on you
does the vent you use block light leak from the outside?maybe herrmies from light stress?
Your plants look very healthy,no visible sine of heat stress(not from the pics anyway).
try not to veg them to much ,i think 12 inch is maybe to big for your space,i would go with 8 inches or so.
good luck with the grow

Those are 6" HEPA filters, keep out bugs and mold or fungal spores.

Thanks. Filters block light, prior grows my Blackdog led had a light leak, probably have outlet wired bassackwards.
You may be right about 8".

4 weeks from unsprouted seeds. Should I use some GH Flora Nova Grow prior to 12/12 flip? GSC seem to like nutrients. FFOF no additions.
