hey there, im a first time grower.
in a 7 gallon, i have to water to runoff every 18-24 hours and shes hydrophobic on top when i come back, very large plant for the pot ive been told. im using coast of maine soil and their buds and bloom Ammendment for top dressing. its week 3-4 of flower and ive already gave her over 5 cups of buds and bloom the past couple weeks when the feeding chart says only to give 1/4th a cup to 1/2 a cup when top dressing, when i was checking the runoff it was barely doing anything, near .8 ec for the past couple weeks and would jump up the days after i would ammend to 1.2 ec, then back down to the usual .8EC , i know it takes a while for the buds and bloom to break down and be available, how long are we talking though? and would you back off the ammendments, or keep feeding half a cup every 3 waterings. any experience or help is welcome, just thought of this, could it be me not keeping the top dress moist enough to be available.
