fire extingnusher-no, that would not work. buy a homebrewing kit and make some beer. put it in with the plants, the fermentation process produce c02. the other homemade c02 thing works if your thinking of the one where u mix sugar and yeast and water but i'd rather make beer or wine instead of stuff to throw in the trash when its done. its your grow and your choice though. lol

Well yeast is about 1$ for a three pack, and maintains a constant rate of Co2 production rather then a sudden burst that can harm the plants that quickly fades to a useless amount, so though you probably could it would be an odd way to go about it.

- forgot to put this info on my first post. its the same fermenting process either way. yeast is eating sugar and making c02 while turning sugar into alcohol. you can just buy yeast and go that route or you could make wine/beer, its more expensive but more fun and rewarding.

It would probably be cheaper to just get an actual tank of CO2 rather then going out getting fireextinguishers every time you need co2. If you are only growing a few plants then co2 is managable with making it yourself otherwise there are better means available

Dude... You can't put your brew in a lit area! That creates lamacilic acid. You know the skunkie nasty taste that you get from Heineken, only worse! Don't do that. Buy a tank from a brew store, or a restaurant.
