Co2

I use a 10" exhaust fan and it sucks really hard
...it will actually pull off plastic from the walls

question is.....by adding CO2 will it be sucked out before
it benefits the plants and does it really make a difference
to the end results

cheers

supposedly it has positive results- I have never done a grow that was identical w/ and w/o co2 so I have no "proof" of it working- but if you think about it- you are supplying the plant with more of its natural "food" so it must be to some advantage...

I would turn off your big fan and bost some c02 for a certain period throughout the day and then just clean it out by turning you exhaust on- plants love routine!!!

Plants can only take in a small amount of c02, and the amount of co2 that is in the air already(which is 300ppm) is already way more then what a plant can take in. The only thing that you can do to keep co2 avialable to it is to introduce fresh air and exaust out old air. This will keep the co2 lvl circulating in the room and at a optimal lvl 300ppm.

You have to think about it, if plants can really take in alot of co2 then why do we have a blanket of co2 in our atmosphere causing Global Warming. Inject more Co2 is a waste of money and its only there because huge companies can make it into a cash cow.

so pretty much youre saying that supplying co2 does nothing???

And that they make it for no reason??

no they make it for a reason, to make money and for plants. But like i say if your co2 lvl in your room is under optimum 300ppm then yes its good to inject co2.

There must be people on here with proof that Adding more Co2 to their crops increases growth..
