Co2

Hello,Am after ah bit off knowledge.
Have just finished my new room and have decided to give c02 ah try,I have noticed u can buy different grades
Industrial grde,Food grade etc Am just wonder does it matter?
Also my room size is 1.7mtrx1.7mtr
or 5.5x5.5 ft PPM for the Area? Have read/watched it all differs Anyone out there with some good solid knowledge on PPM for my Area?

Well i have used co2 for my plants but never bought a system..i was taught by an old tymer to use gallon milk cartons with a side cut out..a lil wAter and dry ice..and only during veg and being sure it was about an hour AFTER the sleep time..i have never heard if giving it all day

You don’t need food grade. That’s pretty much for carbonation of drinks. Buy it at a welding supply. Read up on getting the most out of it because it’s not cheap. Concentrate on how you’ll exchange air in your grow area because it needs to be sealed.

Save your money because you’re wasting it doing this. Same with those bags.

If you have the right kind of climate you can use a burner to heat the room and output Co2. You need to have the out take on it's lowest setting at a minimum to avoid improper oxygen mix, toxic gases etc etc.

I toyed with the idea but due to a much colder climate the out-take is thermostatically cut off for 10-50min intervals. I didn't deem it worth the risk in that situation, so a tank to kick in during the off intervels seems a wiser approach. Not committed to it yet though.
