Hey, That should go in the DIY section great work. Again, I am talking about 1-2 plants and less work. Shaking bottles x times a day. But what if you put another hole in the bottle and feed the tube from a fish pump. OK so you are putting air in to the mix , but is than not going to mix up the yeast ceating
the all important Co2.

does anyone know if its better to put your co2 source below or above your plants. I have read both above and below on this site, so I'm a little confused. I guess it depends on whether co2 is more dense than then the combination of all the other gasses that make up air, but I'm too lazy to look it up myself. Anybody know?

I have had this up since i have started and i have had nothing but great looking plants its like anything else you get what you pay for, yea you dont need a c02 generator but yes it will improve you plants health and increase growth dates. As for the tube lines i thought of doing that aswell but just what if that doesnt work then all the sugar and yeast goes to waste. And as for the height of the home made c02 bottle they say to keep it at least 5 in above plants cause once out of the bottle it percipitates down beacuse its dense and lands directly on your plants.
