“For each carbon dioxide molecule that is incorporated into plants through photosynthesis, plants lose about 200 hundred molecules of water through their stomata,” explains Julian Schroeder, a professor of biology who headed the research effort. “Because elevated CO2 reduces the density of stomatal pores in leaves, this is, at first sight beneficial for plants as they would lose less water. However, the reduction in the numbers of stomatal pores decreases the ability of plants to cool their leaves during a heat wave via water evaporation. Less evaporation adds to heat stress in plants, which ultimately affects crop yield.”

It regulates for high heat so plants can grow. That's I've been saying. WTF

There is the clue for the educated reader. You are correct. The link is there for all to read.UC- Davis is an excellent source for growing anything.

Dude stop. Stop being rude to everyone. All you have to do is post your co2 levels so everyone can see them, via your controller or a syringe test kit picture.

I've watched it, and. So ur setup is Gospel. No other thing works, even chemistry is not fact. That what ur saying.
no, what I am saying is UNLESS you keep a constant PPM of co2 and match your temp and humidity in a sealed environment, you are just wasting your time. and to do that, you need the proper equipment.

So u say, If not hot enough heat CO2 want work, Dude plants use all threw grow, Except NIGHT! So on the outside grow, Lol, plant don't use CO2, because there not hit enough outside. PLEASE.
My grow room is built in an unheated pole barn. It is not technichally a sealed room, but every seam is caulked inside and out...So, unless I create air flow via my exhaust running and pulling fresh air in via my 6" intake, there is close to zero air exchange.
I was worried about the tradeoff between pumping freezing air in and having enough CO2. After tapping the smart guys (and gals) around here, I went with no exhausting at all during veg, or at lights out during flower. When lights were on during flower, I ran the exhaust 4 times for 15 minutes over the 12 hours.
So the only CO2 my plants got was when I opened the door during veg and when I opened the door or during the limited exhausting during flower and guess what??? My plants stayed green and my goal of increasing yields every grow was met.
Bottom line, I concluded that adding CO2 to an unsealed room would be a waste of time and unecessary as the need is actually small and fufilled pretty much by opening the door.

U got it. My grow is sealed, green dense buds. U can even sit in ur grow an Breath co2.
