CO red card ?

Hi,
we are thinking of moving to CO.
If you get approved for redcard, can you be approved to grow plants AND buy from med dispensary?
If you buy, can you go to different dispensaries, do they track/record what you bought/ dates/ etc?
Are you limited to how much, how often?
Do some "sign over "their med plants to a specific disp and then get a reduced rate?

To clarify---I'm just talking growing for myself. Can you grow 6? plants AND still buy med MJ?

Having a dispensary listed as your primary center does not eliminate your ability to grow your plant count.

Having a caregiver does eliminate your ability to grow your plant count.

They can grow your plants but it doesn't take your ability away. This is from multiple lawyers and I just reread the rules applicable.

If you sign a shop as your caregiver, it does take away your right to grow YES.
That link you posted is the Medical code for business'. It's as simple as reading a caregiver contract, it clearly states as such.

A 'shop' or MMC is not a caregiver. A MMC, signed as such, is a primary provider for the red card holder. Doesn't mean you HAVE to buy from them. Read page 47. It doesn't say anything about patients sacrificing counts...

you do understand the difference between a primary provider (dispensary) & a caregiver (red card holder that filled a caregiver form for free)

I don't know how they could have been charged. MMED doesn't give primary provider information to LE. If LE contacts the registry they will only verify the validity of the red card.

Nonetheless, I am confident the information I have provided is legit. I had to find the answer, most centers and lawyers didn't know. Call NORML and ask them. We did. It was amusing to see how many lawyers and le agents don't understand the law.

Snaps is right, only now I believe you could also assign medical plants to a caregiver to grow and still grow your own under Amendment 64 and not have any problems as long as plant counts and grow location conform to law.

My regular shop tender told me today that in colorado, we can sign over our medical plants, and still grow recreational plants at home as well. I will confirm before signing anything over, but seems like a great plan to me.

Shop tenders don't know the laws. They are often trained to tell customers that they can't grow their medical count if they sign them as a primary provider.

When you sign over as a member, they do talk about asking for your plants and how many of them you give them for the member pricing. I haven't gotten the actual card yet, still processing, but I need to know this stuff. I love my basement buddies but would love the member discount when I need to supplement.

Don't need ANY special documentation to grow six at home, or have an unlimited amount in your home (secured from kids), or carry an ounce around in public, just proof of age 21 or over.

You can even sit on your front lawn and smoke weed while people walk by on the sidewalk.

No smoking weed in public places and DEFINITELY NOT while driving. DUID is a big deal here, fair warning.
