In theory, The basment of a house should be Higher CO2 than the rest considering CO2 is heavier than air and sinks. More So if the Furnace and Hot Water Heater are in the basement, Due to the Burners and pilot Lights Burn oxygen out of the air. In theory anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tested CO2 Levels in their Basement Vs the rest of the house, and if the actual real world number bare out the theory?
