CNS17 vs PBP for coco?

CNS17 coco & soil formula vs PBP. Anyone ever used both and can comment on the results? Yield / plant health / smell / taste/ potency?

PBP
It's organic based.
I'd eat from it.
When PBP is added to RO water with a ph of 8.0, it quickly drops to 4. Ph UP is pretty much a necessity.
As for how the taste is..... That varies too much, but I would recommend getting SWEET along with PBP. Things that produce glucose taste better after feeding them sugar... generally.

Rather than pH up you can try a few ml per gallon of Potassium Silicate, like Pro-Tekt.

I notice that CNS 17 drops the pH pretty low at the suggested levels as well, but it isn't outrageous. I've managed to really reduce the need for pH down with the CNS 17 system and Pro-Tekt.

that's what i use (pro-tekt) for ph up. never heard of it used for a ph down. the ph will drop when you add feed. pro-tekt is a good supp for general plant health. ph up only raises the ph, no benefit otherwise.

Another thing that works well is if your tap water has a high pH, you can cut your r/o water 80/20 with tap which provides a good buffer against pH change.
