CMH problems

Prism Lighting Science 315cmh with generic reflector and a mogul hid to cmh conversion piece. Plugged in light this morning, one or two flickers but won’t turn on. Ballast or conversion piece problem?

Sounds like it may be the bulb I had myne do same till I replaced the bulb. The bulb I started with was new too. Somehow manufacturers defect in bulb. 2nd one worked perfect. Doesnt mean that's your problem though but may be the solution.

Same Phillips bulb. Sometimes you just get a bad one. Glad you were able to fix it. I love my cmh lights so much I bought 4 grow beast and an air cooled dual cmh. Gives great production.

Damn they sure do look healthy, can’t wait to see what mine look like vs my old ipower 600watt. 315 batwing in a 4x4 tent, may need a little alibaba quantum board to supplement
