Club soda or seltzer water to water plants?

just finished watching the video of the green guy growing with hydroponics,
something caught my attention when he was talking about co2.

he said that you could use "bubbly water" to water the plants to give them the co2 they need for flowering, im assuming its club soda, have any of you guys tried this b4?:confused:

im starting up my crop again and im growing in a closet thats 3 1/2 ft long, 2 ft wide and 9 ft in height. probly going to grow 1-2 plants. just wondering if co2 would be a problem in a small place like that

another question if anyone cares to answer
to adjust ph levels in the water or soil, i've heard of ppl using vinegar to make the ph level go down (acidic), are there other solutions besides the actual pure ph solution to bring the ph level up? (talking about common household liquids/products)

I personally dont think that the CO2 through the club soda would work because traditionally CO2 enters through the leaves not the stem and roots and bubbles in the plant? just doesnt seem that good of an idea but who knows someone should try it.

Like to spray on the leaves? Would they absorb it or something? That would work probably. If they can absorb it from air why not water right? Could work probably but im not an expert on biology. Ask the elders.

I use Tonic Water. I mix it with Gin. Yeppers, I mix the drink, open the cabinet doors, take a seat and watch my plants grow while I sip the Gin & Tonic.

ran into some solutions u could use to bring ph up, u can use baking soda, or u can just use tap water to bring the ph back to somewhat neutral, but always check to make sure...

i have this picture which i wish i knew how to post..
basically shows wat nutrients are absorbed at different ph levels
the ideal ph level is 6.0-7.0

tho im sure some may say otherwise..

Use seltzer, not club soda, since it contains less sodium that could clog the plants stomata.

i wouldve just picked up either or not knowing the difference..

now i'll i have to name the plant after u cos u just saved it lol :hug:

Alrighty, I feel like an ass I just re-read the 1st post in the thread and realized it was referencing a freakin hydro setup. Damn this is some killer bud I got!!
