Here's the Daddy Deep Blue. Well, actually it is the son of the Deep Blue that I cloned on. I also have a jar with it's pollen in as well as secondary back up - BC/DR Don't you know, lol,
It's got nice tight spacing, good strength to the lower branches, also nice sharp serrations to the leaves, clones like buggery (twas very easy to clone), and is slightly taller than the female. When my greenhouse wasn't populated with so many stinks it really hummed the place out as well. Got a nice deep sweaty smell to it.

Beautiful...got any bud porn of the strain?

What is your guys' opinion on 600 watts as opposed to 1000? im getting ready to go buy one either 600 or 1000.... i will install one over my 4 x 4 flood table.

Well I would say a 600 but then I am biased. But the answer depends on a few factors. What is the 4x4 table situated in, a room, a tent, what are the sizes you have to work with on that side of things. How much height have you got. Are you just buying a new light or upgrading the other equipment around it (fans, coolhood, etc). Have you considered getting 2 x600 instead of 1x1000? The 600 will still cover the 4x4 as it has around a 1m squared footprint which is a little under what you are talking about. So the most economical and giving you guaranteed easy growing would be the 600 (although some peeps we know have squeezed 1000w lights inot the smallest of grow spaces, Jig for example)

i plan on having more plants in here, just waiting for them to show sex. ceiling height is 8'. i will be pushing co2 and my exhaust fans are pretty strong. are 1000s that much better, are they worth the extra heat?
a benefit i can think of having a 1000 is the penetration, with multi strain i need to cover different lengths from plant to light source.

IMO a 1000 would be better for a 4 x 4 space, or 2 x 600. I have a 4 x 4 box and I have been using a 600 in it for over two years. I'm at the point now where I need more light to grow tighter dank, period. After considering a second 600, replacing the 600 with a 1000 (in an efficient hood) and LED's, I decided to add 2 x 180w GLH LED's into the mix to add some more usable light. I did not care for the cost but I do like everything else the LED's have to offer.

Basically it depends how well you want it to do. 600 will work great for that space but the perimeter will be lacking a bit, especially given that it is not in a box with white or reflective walls for the light to reflect. That's a very clean, nice looking setup you have there :bigjoint:

i would go for 2 x 600s and then if you want to add extra or a bigger tray space then you have the light capacity.
i also like a bit of dual spectrum so you could always run a mh and an hps together, just a thought to confuse things. Anyhoo, ask your question on the regular 600 thread, a lot more people are on that and will give you their experiences and opinions......don't want to take Mr West's thread of topic, lol.

Lookin great, similar to blue dream. What phenos you shootin for?
I run deep purple and dont see any of her traits in there. My deep purple is a purple pheno with a berry smell. Real heavy high..

Thanks for the advice. I already have two 400's i could go 600 and a 400 or just a single 1000. im thinking a 1000 might be easier since its less ballists and hoods taking up space. ill leave the thread for the breeding showcase. i got another phenotype of the grand master commin up in the flood table. lets see how she compares to the other one i showed you guys.

Not sure what Blue Dream looks like so couldn't comment but I am looking for short flowerring phenos from this. The clone only cut that was used (Livers or what some people call Blues - hence the name Deep Blue) is a NL 1989 grown from seed and kept running over the years in the North of England. The aim is to get a similar plant to this, but one lying on the indica side that produces short plants that can be grown SOG straight from seed 12/12. The Deep Purple male that was used does have a recessive Purple gene that comes out in the undersides of the leaves in this pheno but I think colder temps would need to be run to get the true side of this to come out. We have a couple of crosses on the go with the Deep Purple male in there and is just adds serious trichome production to it's offspring. This smells like a sweet and intense rotting fruit smell. Is a true hybrid mix of both head high and body stone, but not one that will lay you out on the couch to badly.

Probably somewhere on my thread...fingers crossed your girl turns purple like one of mine. I have some in a jar at the moment that I could take pics of if you can't find any.
