How many weeks into flowering do I put the male pollen on the plant for breeding?

I usually do it at 3 and 4 weeks.

@MrWest : Once they start running watch out! :0)

Bummed about the all males....very weird that. I have gotten better
that 50% females so far. (my bugaboo seems to be the
Deep Purple Querkle....time to go at that one again)

Hey all, quick seeding question, if I am seeing my white hairs brown up, that means my pollenation took right? Most all of the seed project girls have hairs turning brown and receding except the skunked widow, she may just be stubborn like her daddy lol.

Man @papapayne dusted some girls with some old ass bluepit pollen of mine. Hell it sat on a shelf for like 6 months before I put it in the seed stash and it worked we think

Well I guess the skunked widow got pollinated, every bud under the top colas has browning hairs! So all of them took hehe, I tied them up and staked them best I can, today then gave them a full str. nute bath. Now nature takes over. MD

I'm sure there's science to keep it viable for a long time. I'm still using pollen over 5 year old. Keep it dry, cold n dark. Much like most things vegetable matter they degrade slower. My pollen is in the freezer in little glass jars with a grain or three of rice .

Nice trick with the rice grains, I didn't consider that when I froze mine, I will from now on though.
