im gonna be getting the "light engine" from cobkits.com and a HLG-185H-48a driver. but id like to know what i should run it at for the most umols.. not umols per watt... since ill be using the single light i want the most lumens/par ect i can get from it with out causing too much life span loss.. is there a way to calculate this?
the driver is voltage and current adjustable.
I know thhat if you have it on a graph it would plato and then spike for lumens per watt. IE if you push it too hard youll go from say 120lm per watt down to 70lm per watt...
what im asking for is the magic ratio.. how hard can I push one single light before it starts to not gain any more lumens..
of course you have to up the voltage when you up the amps.. like fuel air in a car....
but what is the ratio get the most lumens and have a fair life span?
think of it of asking how much psi can i put in a turbo on an engine before it starts to damage things.
