hi everyone. So last week i had a nuet burn because i was feeding my new grown plant on top of it being it in MG so i flushed it and my new light system came in and now it's thriving. Well i have water it every other day when the soil was dry and now i have this problem: 120208_0000.jpg120208_0003.jpg

This from over watering or from not feeding her neuts? she has grown a lot since i got the new light and flushed. PLEASE HELP!!
BTW everything else on my plant is fine and has no brown or yellowing like this.

Clover leaf?
Besides your problem...
Every other day is way too much water....
Every three or four days is more like it.. (what size pot,)
Just because the top layer of soil looks dry doesn't mean the rest of your soil is...
Pick up your pot when you have just watered it see how heavy it is, and then pick it up after it has dried out (3-4 days later)... This is an easy way to see if its dry... (also stick finger a few inches down if you feel moisture wait until its dry)
What kind of MiracleGro is it, Moisture Control mix, Organic, Regular Potting Soil...
The moisture Control mix will hold more water for longer* = Bad for MJ which needs Oxygen in its roots...

I think Clover Leaf = Cotelydon's
These Leaves are supposed to fall off...

Miracle Gro has time release nutes for three months, so youll be fine for Awhile man... Dont feed any Nutes for a Min.

I think your plant is perfectly healthy....
As long as the rest of the plant is Green and healthy, and its just the oldest leafs that are yellowing..
Your ok....
(*please get that pic up though.... )

here are some pictures.. View attachment 2047822View attachment 2047823View attachment 2047824

BTW in PIC #1 are those pistils coming out of the stem?
Those are just Stipules Both Male and Female plants have them....
In Veg you wont see pre-flowers Usually untill Alternating nodes, or 4 weeks+....
I wouldnt worry about it, its probably the MG Soil Burning the plant a Lil....
Just continue like normal, and water less...
Then when you Transplant into a Bigger pot to Flower,
If your going to use the Mg soil again, just add some Perlite, and Bone meal....

But if you wanna do something different,
https://www.rollitup.org/subcools-old-school-organics/338384-2010-revised-super-soil-recipe.html

Just mix that Soil Recipe up, and water.... Great Results....

* that pic looks like it might be in a Big enough pot already...
If it is you can just top dress with Bone Meal, and some Lime when its time to Flower....

If you dont wanna go the Easy Organic route... You can always use Bottled Nutes....

Its up to you really... And how big you want her to get...
Whats the strain?
How much bigger can you afford her to get?
When do you want her to be done by?

obvious signs are under-nourished...they need water more often than ya think. if you have a light -airy soil mix or peat moss than its almost impossible to over water if you have correct drainage!

top them at least twice...keep in mind sativa dominants and indica dominants vegatative growth characterisitics...I would top any sativa dominant as soon as able. I just saw the second set of pics they look better

just to give you some perspective, if you flowered now, you would only get an eighth at most from one main cola

It is a sativa strain. I got it from a friend that sold me medical cannabis that had seeds in the 8th i bought. a male had jizzed all over the females lol. It's a really wet fruity smell like a mango/grapefruit kush or some fruity tropical kush like that. i am excited to see how it comes out. Btw i just noticed some brown rust on the stem to fan leaves on the top. The brown isn't on the stem itself yet but its on the stem connecting the leaf to the middle. what could that be? with it showing being a young adult shall i go back to giving her nuets?

Its a lil early to tell, but it looks more 50/50 than pure Sativa...
Since your using the MiracleGro potting Soil i wouldnt use Nutes, Everything the plant needs is in the soil...
I wasnt going to tell you to TOP or anything like that because its your first grow..
But if you want to, its obviously up to you..It will increase your yield.
And all you have to do is cut the Top Budsite of right under the first node...

Instead of having one Main cola your plant will branch out. Yah i wouldnt recommend flowering now, Wait another few weeks...
But remember mj will grow up to 3x its size when put in 12/12...

If by rust on the stem you mean its turning purplish, its probably because of cold temps at night.. Again most ikely nothing to worry about... (this would only be on the stalk/stem/branches/etc.. not the leaves...)
If you know for a fact that the temps at night arent colder than during the day.. You might have to buy a PH meter...
But i Never use mine, of course i dont use MG... Maybe just put a Tbls of lime (garden lime)on the top soil to protect against PH problems in the future....
MJ is a very easy plant to grow....
Its growing it to perfection thats the hard part....

Agreed. Dont be worried about subtle changes in your plants appearance like a small brown spot here and there...focus on the overall plan and establish a routine in regards to feeding, watering, etc. if your plant continues to provide new vegatation while old lower leaves show slight yellowing and or browning, its not a hude deal and may be just because some timing is off in regards to watering. stay consistent and youll be good... While browning and small spots and shriveled tips are indicative of larger problems, this isnt the case based on your pics.. your doing fine try not to over analyze.

get rid of the miralce grow and the tin foil. yr plants look as if they are beginning to become deficient

I would highly recommend using techniflora's line of products. they have a nutrient schedule thats easy to follow called the "recipe for success"I use them and am very satisfied...PH will only show as a limiting factor if its above 7 and below 5. Anywhere within that level is acceptable for micro and macro uptake of nutes...when you pay attention to detail like assuring PH level is ideal, and the plant is getting the right amount of NPK in its respective growth stage, then you can start talking about getting some grade A. It all starts with genetics however.

its brown rust color spots on the stem like where the white hairs are. so instead of the normal white hairs. what could that be?
